چکیده
Abstract Background Spontaneous ruptured aortic plaques (SRAPs) act as emboli for systemic organs because SRAPs might contain CCs which cause inflammation besides mechanical obstruction. The purpose of the study is to clarify difference characteristics representative SRAPs, puff rupture and puff-chandelier sampled by non-obstructive general angioscopy. (NOGA) Methods A total 177 ruptures blown out spontaneously glittered against light angioscopic fiber 105 did not glitter were NOGA in patients having or suspected coronary artery disease. Sampled analyzed two kinds methods, conventional Hematoxylin-eosin stain methods without solvents. Samples diagnosed if component atheroma was detected with either method. percentage content CCs, number longer shorter diameters compared between blood from rupture. Results 56% 27% puff- (p<0.0001) Higher included than puff-rupture. (12,955 [3,977, 25,795] vs. 3,182 [909, 7,273]) plaque components smaller those (p=0.0259 p=0.0286, respectively.) tended be (53% 16%, respectively; p<0.0001) Visible debris obtained only 13% 26% Conclusions Diversity shown that had less more fibrin rupture, suggesting potentially fibrinolytic. Ruptured Atheromatous Plaques
Although early occlusion of saphenous vein coronary artery bypass grafts is usually thrombotic, late occlusion is most often a result of progressive intimal fibromuscular proliferation or atheroma formation in the implanted vein. We describe another mechanism of late graft occlusion: atheromatous plaque rupture with superimposed occlusive thrombosis. Four men, ages 48-67 years underwent repeat ...
متن کاملSpontaneous Aortocaval Fistula Due to Ruptured Infrarenal Aortic Aneurysm
Dear editor, Aortocaval Fistula (ACF) is a rare condition of an Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm (AAA). ACF caused by perforation of atherosclerotic infrarenal aortic aneurysm into the adjacent IVC, iliac vein, or left renal vein. 1 Its incidence is approximately 1-2% which increases to 2-6.97% in the presence of ruptured AAA. 2 ACF is reported more in males (98%) with an average age of 64 years. 3 The...
